Let us introduce ourselves . . . . Julie Phillips is the founder of Idaho Jewels Poodles. Together
with a few other small families, we have MANY years of combined experience in breeding & raising
the wonderful and gorgeous toy poodle breed. We make it our goal to carefully breed for health,
temperament, size and color. Our main objective is, of course, betterment of the breed. In order
to facilitate your search for the perfect "poo"--the next member of your family, we have chosen to
list our collective litters through one website.
We are NOT in any way a puppy-mill operation! This is very important to know, because the
physical health and emotional well-being is absolutely vital from birth through the adoptive age of
the "poo-babies", just as it is for a human infant. We wholeheartedly support & admire those who
are trying to shut down the puppy mill operations! Please be educated and NEVER support any
puppy miller or any store that sells animals--it only encourages & enables further horrific
breedings & filthy dangerous conditions!
These "poos" are our babies & friends! We spoil them with much love and attention, as we are true
animal lovers. The "poos" live in our houses & each pup receives the individual attention and
socializing required to start them off as stable and confident pups. We allow all of our "poos" to
be adopted with full AKC registration, unless otherwise noted. Further, we microchip or place an
ear tatoo to facilitate recovery upon the unfortunate loss or theft of your baby.
Though it may seem at times that there are so many puppies available, that it's hard to understand
how we can not utilize kennels, we don't have a houseful of "poos" underfoot all the time! We
primarily breed our girls to have their litters starting in the fall through the spring season,
allowing ourselves and our "poos" a summer respite.
You will quickly find, as we have, that one poodle is never enough! Having had this experience with
our adoptive families over the years, we do offer a full $100 discount (of the original listing price)
on further adoptions after your first! In addition, should you decide to save yourself time and
money and adopt two to start with, your shipping cost will be the same, as we can ship them
together up to six months of age, for the same fee!
We do offer a one year genetic health guarantee, however, our contract MUST be signed and on
file, and you must further have your new puppy examined by your vet within 72 hours of delivery
of puppy to be valid.
We have extended a lot of love, time and care in raising your "poo-baby" to being ready to adopt.
PLEASE be prepared to continue that same special care by being a loving and responsible new
parent!
